Sugar Coating
When I was home, I remember mom picked up some food coloring brushes. One was bright green and the other was bright orange. The green brush looked better than the orange one so I said to my mom, “Hm… green looks good!” Then she asks, “How does the orange one look?” And I tell her, “It looks… kinda okay.” Then my sister jumps in and says, “IT LOOKS UGLY. WHY YOU ALWAYS SUGAR COATING THINGS??? ‘It looks kinda okay’!” And I was just like, “WAIT Whaaaat? Ohdang.”
AHAHAHHA! This is my family, yo!
But I think my sister has a point. Maybe I’m too nice sometimes. Even to an inanimate object! …..but I honestly didn’t think the orange one looked that bad! I guess my tolerance for what is “acceptable” is in a very large range. Actually, that explains why very few things are absolutely terrible or absolutely amazing to me. WOW. SELF DISCOVERY HAPPENING RIGHT THIS MOMENT!!!!
