San Diego for alumni retreat two weekends ago! We went biking togetherrrr! Not like 21 people on individual bikes and gathered together like a huge Asian bike gang but like a six-person bike w/ a canopy over us. It was PRETTY DARN FUN.

We were going to places we weren’t supposed to like into alleys where trucks drop off/load stuff, sidewalks where people walk, etc. It was SO HILARIOUS when we went into that random alley to avoid the actual road for cars. There was ONE RANDOM GUY sitting there, watching us do this HORRIBLE “u-turn” in our six-person bike. OMG….. Time has not passed that slowly IN MY WHOLE LIFE. Ahahhaha!

Wherever we went, people were seriously standing around, watching us, laughing at us, recording us, taking pictures of us… I swear, there’s like at LEAST 5 or 6 more groups biking but we had the most AWKWARD ATTENTION there! It was SO much fun though! Ahhh…. (:

I can come off as mean… and condescending…. ): Aww mannnn! I got pretty sad when Perez told me I sounded condescending w/ some of my comments X: I don’t mean to! I really don’t! HONEST. I’m glad he understands that I don’t mean it. Gahhhh! I’m sorry if any of you guys think I’m like that \: I probably sound more mean than I actually am. So don’t take it too harshly! Pleaseeeee

Drove to and back from LA last Wednesday. The drive there was aiiiiiiiite…. But the drive BACK was pretty damn fun! I made it back to Irvine in 35-40 minutes. I didn’t speed THAT much… Hitting, AT MOST, 80mph. See, not that bad! It’s just the constant lane switching that made it fun o___o Avoided being behind those slow cars, ya know! For a good amount of time, I was driving behind/with an M5. Guess we have a similar driving mentality. KEKEKEEE :D

Last night, a huge group of us went to get KBBQ at Flower Pig yesterday. Most of us were already finished eating the meats so they all went off to get their frozen yogurt. I was still going at it for a while after. When I finally stopped, I went to get myself some frozen yogurt. I pulled the lever but nothing came out. So I asked one of the workers if it ran out. He checked and he said it did run out. Booooo…. So he asked, “Will you still be here?” I said, “Yeah, how long will it take?” “I’m not sure because you have to wait for it to turn too.” And I’m just like, “Ohh… Nevermind then, it’s okay! Thanks!” and walked off w/ an empty container. Then we’re just talking amongst ourselves and I got over the thought that I won’t get any frozen yogurt. Then, surprisingly so, the worker I asked to check the machine walks through the door carrying a container w/ quite a bit of frozen yogurt in it and asks, “Who wanted frozen yogurt earlier?” I smiled and raised my hand and he handed it to me. I GOT SPECIAL SERVICE, YO. I tipped the guy a dollar when we left. It was so kind of him to get it for me, I just had to! (:

And that’s all! I felt pretty happy after, kekeek :D

I made this entry when I was home two weeks ago and it’s still good enough to share so even though it’s not that recent, it’s still good! So, here goes!

POOFY PEED ON MY BED. Freakin’ Poofy… -___- I was just about to get my clothes off my bed to go shower when I felt something WET on my comforter. I leaned in closer to get a whiff of what it could be. And it was that unfriendly smell of urine. I turned on the lights to investigate and noticed that my pillow was stained yellow too. So there I was, 3 in the morning, removing my sheets and my pillow to stuff in the washer. GOOD THING I still had my old pillow and mom had an extra comforter that I could use! Or I would’ve been sleeping on nothing that night.

Readings in Classical Chinese Philosophy. It includes writings from Kongzi (Confucius), Mozi, Mengzi (Mencius), Laozi, Zhuangzi, Xunzi, etc. It was for my Classic Chinese Philosophy class last quarter. Quite an interesting class! I didn’t read EVERY line of text in there but the parts that I DID read were quite… thought-provoking. It’s one of those books I would still keep long after taking the course.

This one’s hard…. There’s slow progress in almost all my relationships with people. But it’s still progress. I’m actually quite difficult to get to know. I’m not very open to people and I interact w/ people individually a LOT better than in groups (unless I’m close to everyone in that group) ‘cause I actually get to know themmm.

But anyway…. let’s go w/ my co-big, Julian Wong! He’s been rejecting me every time I ask him to hang out, which is at LEAST 5 times already! Two weeks ago, he finally asked ME to hang out w/ HIM! :O YES! He initiated a hang out! This is amazing b/c he never goes out with anyone. So yayyy! I FEEL SPECIAL. We’re gonna bake some pasta and make garlic bread tomorrow (: Jelly? Yeah, I know you are!

I’ve been pretty beat this past week and it doesn’t relieve me to know that I accidentally used my shampoo as face wash last night….. Yes, I used shampoo as face wash during my shower last night.

I honestly do not know how the heck it happened. I was in the shower w/ my eyes closed and I remember putting shampoo on my hands then it felt like quite a bit of time has passed… (my routine is shampoo, conditioner, body wash, face wash) so I guess I thought it was time to wash my face. So I start scrubbing my face, opened my eyes, and felt an incredible STINGING in my eyes.

Then I thought about it. Yes, I had to think about it. It wasn’t something I realized right away. I rinsed my eyes w/ water then convinced myself that I must have fallen asleep in the darn shower. Explains that lapse in time there.

Came out of the shower and couldn’t help myself but to lay on my bed. I wake up 10-15 minutes later and realized I didn’t wash up nor get dressed so I went to do that then I seriously KTFO.

I’m freakin’ TIRED, guyyyyssssss

I suck at networking. Either I’m anti-social at times or I’m just too lazy to socialize. I have my moments when I’m super friendly and I’m enjoying every bit of it. But I have down time where I just keep to myself. That’s usually because I don’t want to “work,” so to speak, to keep a conversation going. I like talking to someone and having it flow without much effort. But I’ve been told recently to “work on it until it flows. When it flows, it won’t feel like work anymore.” - Luke Pham. Guess it’s time for me to practice an essential skill in life.
